Une meilleure compréhension de l’interactivité et de ses implications est essentielle pour faciliter la recherche concentrée sur l’émergence des places de marchés électroniques. Cet article présente une conceptualisation de l’interactivité depuis une perspective de place de marché.
Objectif de l’article : Développer la notion de perspective d’interactivité d’une marketplace, qui manque ou qui n’est pas bien articulé dans la littérature. La perspective de marketplace appréhendé ici permettra d’ajouter un travail conceptuel et empirique de cette matière pour augmenter l’importance pour le marketing.
Second objectif : Présenter un agenda de recherche et une directive pour faciliter à grande échelle et d’évaluer la validité.
Donc pour synthétiser, l’article devra avancer une large conceptualisation de l’interactivité et proposer un programme de recherches en marketing en relation avec l’interactivité dans les marketplace.
Plan : – présentation des domaines de communications, leurs évolutions et la littérature centrée sur la communication assistée par ordinateur.
– développement et définition du concept d’interactivité assisté par ordinateur, comme une caractéristique spéciale de la communication assistée par ordinateur dans les marketplace.
– pour finir, une présentation pour les futures recherches centrées sur les publications de mesures, l’affinage conceptuel et le management de l’interactivité dans les marketplace électroniques.
Evolution dans le domaine de la communication
Fidler (1997) présente l’évolution des technologies en 3 domaines de communication que sont le domaine du document (impression), le domaine interpersonnel (téléphone) (Mobiles : 1,6 milliard de connexions 3G/4G en service dans le monde) et le domaine de la diffusion (télévision). Ces technologies évoluent sur de longues périodes avant d’avoir un impacte sur les marketplace. Monoprix rejoint donc les marques-enseignes qui ont déjà ouvert sur Amazon comme Kookaï, Célio, Esprit, Morgan, La City, Petit Bateau, Desigual ou encore Tommy Hilfiger.
Computer-Mediated communication : référence aux échanges de messages entre émetteur et récepteur via « des messages électroniques ou des conférences par ordinateurs synchronisées ou non synchronisées ». Le PC cède de plus en plus la place à la tablette. Les ventes de PC ont reculé de 3,5 % en 2012. HP reste en tête des fabricants, avec 16 % de parts de marché, suivi de Lenovo et Dell. Windows 8 n’a eu que peu d’impact.
Trois théories ont traité les aptitudes et limites des CMC. Cependant elles ont servis de fondations conceptuelles pour beaucoup de travaux empiriques sur les CMC. Récemment Walther (1992) a questionné la validité de ces théories avec »social information processing theory ». Nous allons donc voir les caractéristiques des CMC.
Cues filtered out : Indices filtrés : Par exemple lors d’une conversation (contact avec les yeux, expressions faciales) ces indices sont souvent manquants ou coupés.
Le traitement des vues dans les informations sociales : Une étude démontre la validité des indices filtrés par le manque d’informations interpersonnelles échangés durant le CMC. Le face à face et le CMC ne présente pas les mêmes interactions qui sont en effet plus importantes sur du face à face.
INTERACTIVITE : une caractéristique de la communication assistée par ordinateur.
La conceptualisation de l’interactivité dans une place de marché électronique
Les auteurs présentent une définition de l’interactivité par rapport à un usage dans la littérature et de la communication au sein de la marketplace. Cela met en avant 4 caractéristiques, bidirectionnel, approprié – actuel, mutuellement maniable- contrôlable, affectable – impressionnable. La conceptualisation montre que la perception des quatres caractéristiques soulignées au dessus peut varier. Cette variation peut être du aux facteurs « design »
La conceptualisation de l’interactivité dans la marketplace est guidée par 2 considérations.
– Rafaeli (1988) interactivité est une caractéristiques de l’ajustement de la communication dans de nombreux domaines (online gaming, vidéoconférence,..) mais rarement concernant les place de marché électronique (sauf Hofmann et Novak).
– Les auteurs souhaitent développer une définition suffisamment riche pour alimenter une recherche conceptuelle et empirique dans un contexte de marketplace.
Différents types d’interactivité : La CMC dans une électronique marketplace fait la distinction entre les entreprises et les consommateurs, qui interagissent entre eux, et cela de plus en plus. La mise en place d’outils CRM adaptés permet de rendre l’échange entre les 2 acteurs plus personnalisé. L’entreprise cible son offre par rapport à ses clients.
Les auteurs élaborent comment les firms-consommateurs, consommateurs-consommateurs, et firms-firms ont changé et les implications de ces changement.
Conséquences : Le niveau de ces acteurs augmentent rapidement. Selon le point de vue des communicants (firms et consommateurs) la CMC est devenue plus bidirectionnel, approprié – actuel, mutuellement maniable- contrôlable, affectable – impressionnable.
Mesure : Il a été nécessaire d’évaluer l’interactivité des marketplace par rapport aux perspectives des consommateurs et des firms.
Conceptual refinement : La conceptualisation de l’interactivité donnée dans cet article est tirée de la littérature CMC, donnant une pertinence au contexte de la communication. Les futures recherchent pourraient être centré sur les réseaux ou les théories de structurations qui seront un soutien, une amélioration pour comprendre l’interactivité au sein d’une marketplace.
Managing interactivity : Focus sur 2 questions managériales : intégrer l’interactivité dans le design des produits et services, et management d’une marketplace en augmentant l’interactivité. Les Mobiles, les tablettes tactiles ou bien encore via les bornes interactives connectées en magasins, force est de constater que le tactile et le e-commerce sont des éléments dépendants entre eux.
Conclusion : Bien que le besoin de comprendre l’interactivité et ses implications dans l’émergence des electronic marketplace sont largement reconnu, des déficiences persistent. Cet article propose une conceptualisation de l’interactivité basé sur des travaux et recherches actuelles. Il est possible de conceptualiser l’interactivité comme une caractéristique de la CMC. L’interactivité est conceptualisé comme le degré selon lequel la CMC est perçue par les consommateurs et les entreprises comme bidirectionnel, approprié – actuel, mutuellement maniable- contrôlable, affectable – impressionnable.
Les perspectives avancées par l’article sont centré sur la CMC entre les consommateurs, entre les consommateurs et les firms et entre les firms.
