First of all, we musk  ask « what are socials networks ? » Theire is no clear definition. Their common points would be the idea of sharing and strengthening of the social link around centers of interets similar.According to Camilla BURG,  Communication & Outreach Director in WiserEarth,the notion of social network is not new (network friends, network family, network job,…). We can resume like relation between the persons.

                    When Web evolves with the behavior…

Articles on website was evolved in according with change of behavior of persons.

Before, articles published was long ,for example press article was written on two or three pages, while now,when the generations become more hurry and more easily annoyed, articles become more and more shorts.

The debate is on the quality of contents because « posts » are so quickly exchanged and is hard to verifie their accuracy.

                The mondial success of social network….

Whether it is social network like facebook or twitter, professional like Linkelid or still musical as Spotify, all know a mondial success. When I see one pic of 6 049 tweets per seconds for the day of Steve Jobbs died, 11,5 millards followers of Barack Obama, the president of the States, or that Kadhafi is the secondly subject most evocated in facebook status, I can constat world phenomene of this networks and their importances in the live of individual, all generations disconcerted.

                The french success of this networks…

In France, Facebook is know and use by the largest number of persons under 18 and 65 years old and more. Youtube and Twitter are in the Top 3 of social network too,but no know a similar success beside people more 25years old.

The «  seniors », are register for 29% of them in Facebook, 28% of them in Copaindavants and 27%  in Picassa ( sourcing by poll IFOP). It’s not a target to be left …in spit of all that doesn’t exist in her generations.

                The company with the socials networks…

Companys use social network too.It is very importante to be register in one ,or some, on this networks for increase her notoriety and to assure a good credibility close to consumers. For example, Danone with DownEarth was achieve a real  success what allowed,via this blog, to answer all questions, to sensitive internautes and to make know them in the world because the website can to  be see by all the people.

Crédit Agricole, when has he, was make participated internautes with his  challenge «  L’hanvie de faire la difference ». In fact, this company was created one «  post » in his website for ask to internautes to thing  how to receve one handicaped student in Crédit Agricole. Even if results was small (51 participants), Crédit Agricole, was made to know and was show an innovative face and they are near of actuals problems.

                ONG and socials networks…

Similary, ONG were decided to create WiserEarth for reasemble all actors of Sustainable Developpment.

This website meet a big success and he advances website like «  co voiturage » who are things good for the sustainable developpement.

As Wikipedia, its internaut who directly publish in website without controle of a company or people.

But be careful ! This networks should be handle with precaution because it should don’t forget information is visible by EVERYBODY and she can transmit more quickly.Furthermore, the management of this socials networks is not a easy things… The website should often « mise a jour » to avoid falling in forgets it and one person should keeps it constamently. Company image is on game ! She takes a risk to appear like a company not reactive and not dynamic. The transparence is,also, one element most important for the notoriety.

So yes for socials networks but with moderation and precaution…
