Research Context

This survey is part of a broader research project investigating the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) in higher education institutions across the globe. The study examines how students, teachers, and staff interact with AI tools, and what factors influence their adoption, satisfaction, and perceptions of equity and sustainability.

📊 Understand usage patterns — How different roles (students, teachers, researchers, staff) use GenAI tools
⚖️ Assess equity of access — Examine disparities in access to premium AI tools across institutions and countries
🌱 Evaluate sustainability awareness — Measure awareness of environmental costs (energy, water) of AI infrastructure
🏛️ Analyze institutional governance — Understand how universities regulate and support GenAI usage
🌍 Compare national contexts — Identify cross-national differences in adoption and perceptions
