Résumé : Cet article a pour but de d’étudier les décisions des entreprises d’envoyer ou non leurs produits à une évaluation de qualité au près d’une société intermédiaire, experte en la matière. Ces avis s’opposant ainsi aux avis des consommateurs, ne pouvant être considérés comme des avis professionnels.
Ces examens professionnels ont selon l’auteur une influence importante sur le futur prix du produit mais également sur la perception des consommateurs et sur leurs prochains avis.
Selon l’étude les marques dites “faibles” ont plus tendances à envoyer en examen leurs produits de qualité. Ces examens permettent de diminuer les écarts de prix entre marque “faibles” et marques “fortes”, plus l’exam sera positif plus le prix le sera aussi. Ces examens permettent également de développer d’avantage le bouche à oreille sur internet, mettant davantage le consommateur en confiance.

Cette étude met également en avant le fait que les avis d’experts sont plus considérés par les consommateurs car il s’agit d’avis professionnels et donc plus objectifs. Cependant l’auteur indique également que ces avis d’expert influencent aussi les futurs avis des consommateurs, comparant ainsi leur point de vue et expérience à celui-ci. Les deux avis peuvent ainsi se compléter ou s’opposer.

Conclusion :

L’étude permet de définir les raisons pour lesquelles une entreprise envoie ou non un produit à un intermédiaire pour que celui-ci l’évalue. La première est liée au prix, plus un produit sera évalué, par un expert, positivement, plus son prix sera susceptible d’augmenter.
Ces avis d’intermédiaires s’opposent ainsi ou se comparent aux avis d’utilisateurs.
L’importance portée par les consommateurs à ces avis d’experts dépend souvent de la confiance. L’auteur termine l’étude en indiquant que le bouche à oreille sur internet est devenu essentiel et vit une période tourmentée liée aux scandales des faux avis en ligne. Les avis d’experts et d’intermédiaires pourraient être une solution car celles-ci sont impartiales et réalisées par des sociétés tierces indépendantes.
